Community Engagement Platform

We launched the Engagemissionwest.com community engagement site to offer up projects for our residents to comment on projects. The responses have been beyond expectations, providing key data sets for ongoing projects. Mission West Community Development Partners assumed the site - Check it out – engagemissionwest.com and the explainer video we made to showcase what these projects are all about.

Feasibility Study

This study was funded by the United States Department of Agriculture to assess the feasibility of establishing a co-working space and providing remote work skills training for our local communities. The survey data provided some surprising trends including the number of folks already working remote in this region, and the hard costs and overhead of setting up a full-time, permanent facility. More updates will come from this initiative.

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

This is a hefty document written every five years that lays the foundation for strategic plans and priorities over the next five years. Using the Economic Development Agency guidelines, new content has been researched and included in this comprehensive narrative for Lake, Sanders and Mineral Counties in north-western Montana.

Infrastructure Inventory Portal

We submitted a proposal to develop an inventory model for the infrastructure projects in this region. The project will be built on the engagemissionwest.com site, working with government agencies, town councils, city departments, civic groups and other interested stakeholders.

Workforce Development – Trepademics has been a key player in developing a Remote Work Training model, resulting in 2 workshops delivered in Helena. You can read about the first workshop in a blog post below. Trepademics provides the training model and stakeholders, the data analysis and reporting, the documents package (survey’s, checklist and in-house materials) and the strategy for sustainability. The net result is we are well on our way of securing employment for more than half of each cohort, with more results of secured employment over time.

GRANTS

We wrote and won a lot adding up to a significant amount of funding in this valley. This is one of the 'heart' projects that we know will be available for some time to come - a first Collections Management Manual for a local museum.
